Had a great experience scheduling the appointment, they were very educated about my issue and were able to get a technician out the next day. The tech was on on time! He called and quoted me a price for two springs that needed to be replaced, so I approved and he installed. After the work was done, he called back and said he actually had to use bigger springs and they were about $70 more than quoted. I stated that I would not pay the additional amount, because I didn't approve those springs and he should have known this garage door needed those bigger springs from the get go. After a long conversation, he was able to edit the price to the originally quoted price. It wasn't the best experience, but they did the work in a timely manner.

Alex who was my technician provided a professional and courteous service. He took the time to explain and offer insightful advice. I took a star not due to Alex but the pricing, which was high to fix the issue; without any parts replacement. (also the price was higher than another major competitor with similar level of service, which I used in the past). I would definitely reconsider and recommend Precision in the future because of experienced technicians like Alex.

Alex provided the repair to our garage door today. Springs needed to be replaced. He was excellent and ensured everything operated properly before leaving. The only reason a 4 star and not a 5 was not Alex, but because the pricing was a bit higher than expected. The range for springs quoted is broad - $109-$189 if I recall. Of course, my springs were at the higher end. I was able to describe the garage door and size, with that information, I anticipated a tightened up quote. The price was roughly $100 more than the competition. However, with that said, if these springs do have a cycle life upwards of 20,000 cycles compared to the competition which is closer to 10,000 cycles, then it is well worth it. Only time will tell! Also, another primary reason I chose Precision - they offered a Military discount which I greatly appreciate as a veteran! Many companies do not and that is valuable to me, not just the 10%, but being appreciated goes a long way. Thank you Precision and thank you Alex!
