Dear Sir: On April 3 I had Precision come in to replace a broken spring. The tech recommended I also replace the other unbroken one and I followed through and even purchased the package coverage that guaranteed all moving parts which he checked out for 3 years. I spent $424 and felt confident that I made the right choice for the repair. Unfortunately in less than 10 days from then, my garage door would not open. Precision's tech returned and now tells me that my motor is not functioning. I have to say that this is no coincidence as I am now being quoted an additional $500 to replace a motor that was functioning all along. I have researched the issue and sincerely believe that the tension applied to the springs to offset the weight of the door was not properly calibrated at installation and has consequently resulted in exceeding the motor's capacity thus resulting in its failure This is of major inconvenience to me, not to mention the cost I am facing in a 2 week period of time. This is obviously not a coincidence. I request that Precision do the right thing and replace my motor and guarantee the work performed at no cost to me. I await your response.

Our technician was Bobby this morning. He called when he was on his way, he was on time, and he was very polite when he arrived. Five stars already. He thoroughly explained what was wrong to me, gave me a price that was fair, and then went to work right away. We like to be good to people that come to the house so I made him coffee and served him Lemon Cake with homemade blackberry sauce. He had his snack when he was done while we tested the door. He was an absolute delight to have, careful and thorough and he even offered to look at our second door. He pointed out some things re. the motor and spring size and made some recommendations. Bobby's sincere demeanor and thorough, careful job performance earned our trust. We will be calling you the next time we have a door malfunction and we will ask for Bobby!! Service was impeccable, Bobby was right on time, called ahead and explained everything he was doing and why. I came to Precision because of the reviews and others' positive experience and I would definitely recommend them myself. If I had any concern it would be the cost of the new opener that I needed, but if you figure it would cost a couple hundred more anyway to get someone knowledgeable to install such a retail-bought opener, plus the cost of a service call, the extra cost is an acceptable trade-off for less hassle.

The professionalism and service was excellent. I called in on a Saturday afternoon(July 4th weekend) and Precision scheduled a service call Sunday morning, no extra charge. Bobby was the service representative that was assigned. He was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgable. As he had indicated he had been doing garage service for 16 years. What would have taken me a day after after a week of hunting down the parts, he did in an hour and half. I would certainly recommend Precision for any of your garage door needs.
