We really appreciate his excellent customer service and the care he takes to make sure everything is working properly. My garage door spring broke at 10am. My technician, Merrick Gayle arrived at 11:30 and my garage door was repaired in an hour. Amazing! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done He gave me several options and explained the advantages of each one. My appointment was for an evaluation of my garage door and after inspection he pointed out a few things that needed to be done in order to insure that the door would continue to last for years to come. He explained everything step by step and I really felt like he not only knew what he was doing, but wanted to make sure that I was given options on how to best complete the job. Once we agreed, he went to work and did a great job of several repairs that were needed to be done. Door intermittently going down and then retracting. Technician performed several troubleshooting techniques and changed the rollers and checked other areas that could cause the door not to fully close. Technician claims the defect was the logic board. He charged me over $600 and suggested I contact the manufacturer of the garage door opener and request a new board. He charged my Platinum AmEx over $600 and told me to contact him after I receive the board… really? Poor customer service!!!

This morning we realized our garage door wouldn't open and the spring was broken. Our car was "held hostage" so to speak. We called Precision Garage doors around 8 and the technician was at our home before 10 am. He was great! Knew right away what the problem was. He knew we had work done by Precision this year. I had a wonderful experience hiring Precision Garage Doors to diagnose and manage my garage door issues. My technician was Scott Smith and he made all the difference. I felt like I was working with a board certified surgeon in his field. Incredibly knowledgeable and a master of his craft. He tried saving me money where he could and when it came down to the current system being inoperable he replaced the motor and chain with ease and it is working great.
