I chose Precision Garage Door Service based on the Google reviews for your company. It showed the company has a 4.9 rating which I feel is amazing! The service technician, Merrick Gayle, showed up exactly on time as promised. I found him to be pleasant, courteous, and professional in both in inspection of the door and related repair. He gave me multiple estimates from replacing the entire door all the way to basic minimum required repairs needed. With help from Merrick, I decided that the door itself was fine but I decided to do more than the minimum repair. I had the springs replaced, new bearings, new wheels, along with proper lubrication and required door balancing that Merrick recommended. Merrick was fast and efficient in the repair process. I was impressed with both his skills and knowledge relating to garage door repairing. All needed parts were on his truck and he had it working as good as new in a short time. Everything was perfect, from the call to have someone come out (Alyssa: yesterday) to the technician who came out today to fix the garage door (Jeff Barron). The technician showed up on time, explained how he was going to replace the broken spring (so i could get my car out of the garage). His time estimate of 1 hour was accurate. I upgraded my springs, rollers, drums, cables and bearing plates in 2022. In 2025, the springs broke and was quoted over $800 for two new springs. With the upgrades I made 3 years ago, I would have expected a longer life span from the springs. Very disappointed.

I was shocked at how quickly they offered to diagnose and resolve the problem. Once Dave, my tech arrived, he was professional, efficient, and no nonsense in getting down to the business of repairing my door. My door is now updated with better parts and a flawless operation. My keyboard went out over the weekend and I called Monday to ask for service as Precision had installed the original keypad and replaced the motor of the opener a few years ago. I was given a window of 2-4 but at 2 the technician said it would be closer to 4. In the end he didn't arrive until after 7 but he was so nice and helpful that I ended up being totally satisfied with the service. I appreciate that Aaron stayed late to come to my house even though I'm sure he would have preferred leaving work much earlier. He was pleasant and helpful and changed out my keypad and lubed the entire door and springs in less than half an hour.
