I called Precision and spoke with a live pperson who was able to schedule a service call withing 3 hours. Rony came diagnosed the proble am provided the fix. All was working well in a few hours.

My garage door cable broke at 6:45 am when I went to open it. I googled garage door repair companies in my area and saw the excellent reviews so I called my local Percision Door Service, in Palm City, Florida. Within 2 hours, Ken was there to fix my garage door. He was professional, polite and very informative. He gave me 3 options and all very reasonable quotes. I went with his recommendation “best” option and the work was completed within 1 1/2 hours. Now I understand why the have so many 5 Star reviews. I thought I had found a professional organization that would charge fairly for work performed. Unfortunately, that was not the case and I had to eat the $90 show-up charge (and now I know why they charge that). I had a broken torsion spring and the price quoted to replace both springs was on the high side, but acceptable under the circumstances. But the attempted upsell to replace other components were priced as if each was the only thing they came out to do. Even though the springs were off and the unit was dismantled (no tension on any parts), they wanted over $300 to replace the bearing plates ($20 worth of parts and a dozen bolts), and $380 to replace the cables and drums (another $20 of parts and four bolts). That's when the bell went off and I went with a smaller independent repairman .

As a reputable company it is our obligation to inform you when other parts on the doors are failing. However you are not obligated to get these parts, it is more to make you aware of issues to come. Arrived right on time. Very professional diagnostic evaluation of my original 1996 garage door. The spring its second broke and prompted my call. As a result of showing me all the wear and tear, i.e. friction and three options I chose the middle one cost wise, replacing the spring, rollers, cable and bearings. The entire door having to be recalibrated for the garage door opener for each done separately this was the most cost effecient with the greatest peace of mind as my car and garbage were trapped inside the garage! I would highly recommend Jeff Brown!

Daniel is an asset to your business as he was terrific, he explained exactly what was needed and pointed out my worn out rollers which I had him replace. I wrote a very nice log review, your tech did an outstanding job repairing my door at a very reasonable price the same day. Just as I was finishing up I hit the wrong key on my PC and it disappeared. It took me about 10 minutes to write, and I didnt want to start all over. But I would not hesitate to use your company again. THe work was outstanding and done at a fair price.
