My keyboard went out over the weekend and I called Monday to ask for service as Precision had installed the original keypad and replaced the motor of the opener a few years ago. I was given a window of 2-4 but at 2 the technician said it would be closer to 4. In the end he didn't arrive until after 7 but he was so nice and helpful that I ended up being totally satisfied with the service. I appreciate that Aaron stayed late to come to my house even though I'm sure he would have preferred leaving work much earlier. He was pleasant and helpful and changed out my keypad and lubed the entire door and springs in less than half an hour.

Chose because at 9:30 on a Saturday night they were still open. When the service man came, he did an evaluation and suggested some repairs but when he started, realized that they were not necessary. I made an appointment online and followed up with a phone call to Precision with the brand (Genie) and model of my malfunctioning opener. I was assured that all Techs were experienced and familiar with all brands. Tech took one look at the opener and commented "that thing is ancient." In fact it was installed 10/2021. He then asked "how many times per day is the door used" and before I could answer he said "and tell the truth." He made a couple of adjustments and identified a broken part in the opener. He process a bill for $300 and a quote for a new opener for $1,200. I then called Genie in hopes of purchasing the broken part. They informed me that it was still under warranty and they will send me an entire new unit for an $18 shipping charge. Two days later it arrived and I installed it myself in about 15 minutes. I thought Precision Garage Door Service of South Florida understood industry warranties more than a homeowner, but I guess not. I regret ever calling Precision.

My service call could not have been better. I am not the ideal customer, only owning a home with a garage for less than three years and being tech challenged. When I first moved into my house, Precision came and had to replace the motor. Everything has worked perfectly since then until yesterday. The door wouldn’t close. Eyron Molina responded to my call for help with one of my garage doors not closing properly. I called on Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., they said that a technician could be here between 4 and 6 p.m., and he arrived promptly just after 4 p.m. Wow! That was great. The problem was very simple. It appeared that my yard helpers may have pulled on the release cord that prevented the door to close automatically. The fix was so easy, and Eyron was able to give a quick service lubricating both doors. Plus, he was very amicable and charming on top of being an excellent professional. I had an issue where the manual release cord got caught in the garage door while it was being opened causing it to close abruptly and hard. I saw the problem, but could not get the door to work. Precision came out within a few hours which was a pleasant surprise. Eyron fixed the issue and then showed me why the door closed so hard. He strengthened the existing springs and now the door works perfectly. Al this for what I thought was a reasonable price. I will only use Precision from now on for my garage door needs.
