New garage door installed. Door does not close 100%. From outside door, it looks like the top portion of door is leaning in. Noticeable to all, even inspector. Was told by a tech the beam inside garage is causing door not to close correctly. Was suggested having someone trim about 1/2" of bottom of beam then call Precision to have a Tech come back for a maintance call to tweak the door so it closes. Called for help getting someone to performing the 'trimming' because I cannot locate anyone that will do it. Until this gets resolved to my satisfaction, it is an incomplete job and I will pass this story on to whoever asks me what company installed the garage door.

One first-class company that is professional from first contact on the phone to getting a receipt quickly by email. Technician Bobby Rivera called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He examined the whole door system, not just the broken springs, and clearly gave us options -- good, better, best. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Mr. Rivera completed the work in less than an hour and tested the mechanism thoroughly before he left. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. These guys have earned their A+ rating from the BBB.

My door was untracked, and stuck in the closed position. The Tech. Eric D re racked the door and then diagnosed that my door springs were no longer providing the force nessessary to keep the door from unracking again and eventuly would burn out my garage door opener. He replaced the springs that were worn and cracking and re racked and balanced the door. Eric did a great job.

Alex was great--he explained to me exactly what was wrong and gave me options on repairs. It's good to know there is no extra charge on after hours or weekend appointments. We had just purchased a new garage door opener for the second time in a year and lo and behold, just when my husband leaves for a business trip, the garage door opener breaks again! No matter what I did, I couldnt get the garage door to go back up. I called Precision and they were able to send their Technician, Alex, out to look at the problem. He called in advance and was right on time for the appointment. Turns out, it was a very simple fix where all he had to do was tigbten the drive belt on the door opener motor. He charged me only for the service call and my garage door is working once again. It is quiet and barely makes a sound when in use. Thank you to Alex for fixing the problem and for Precision for being such a class act!

Told one price on the phone and it was double when the tech arrived. Haggled with price for 30 min before agreeing on a price. Price went from $370 down to $250 for replacing springs. Tech did a good job with install.
