The technician arrived on time and we discussed the problem. He began working and had it repaired in wshort order. He then sprayed the hinges with oil which made them much quieter. On a scale of one to ten I would give him a 15. I was extremely happy with the experience.

Great company and Service techs are professional and knowledgeable . I knock 2 star off , one star for the salesman telling me that the door opener has a lifetime warranty , not telling me the Exception for the pcb that broke after 2 years , another star for the cost of repair of almost $300 dollars for a $100 PCB that took all of 15 minutes to install.. More than the cost of a new door opener at Home depot

I have used Precision in the past to service my garage door. They were very knowledgeable and professional so I called them again to get an estimate on a hurricane-rated garage door. We liked Dale, the sales rep who responded to our request. He was nice, professional, and exuded confidence and integrity. Dale walked us thru all the door options and what the permit and installation processes would be like. We bought a beautiful door at a competitive, fair price, although we were really buying him because he just comes across as an honest, knowledgeable, and friendly guy. No slick snake oil tactics, just honesty and integrity. Whereas, the door still has to be installed, we recommend this company based on their products and sales personnel.

I made an appointment online and followed up with a phone call to Precision with the brand (Genie) and model of my malfunctioning opener. I was assured that all Techs were experienced and familiar with all brands. Tech took one look at the opener and commented "that thing is ancient." In fact it was installed 10/2021. He then asked "how many times per day is the door used" and before I could answer he said "and tell the truth." He made a couple of adjustments and identified a broken part in the opener. He process a bill for $300 and a quote for a new opener for $1,200. I then called Genie in hopes of purchasing the broken part. They informed me that it was still under warranty and they will send me an entire new unit for an $18 shipping charge. Two days later it arrived and I installed it myself in about 15 minutes. I thought Precision Garage Door Service of South Florida understood industry warranties more than a homeowner, but I guess not. I regret ever calling Precision.

Willy was great! very knowledgeable and explain everything very thoroughly. He and his assistant completed the job in 2 hours and cleaned up neatly after. Willy then proceeded to show me how to maintain the springs and hinges with garage lubricant approximately 3 times per year. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door!!

I woke up this morning to a not pleasant surprise. My garage door would not open. It worked fine yesterday, gave me no indication that it was on its last legs, but indeed during the night it decided to quit. Dave to the rescue. I called and asked for a technician and I couldn’t be more pleased with the gentleman that precision sent to work on my garage door. Dave arrived when he said he would, looked over my garage door and presented me with a few alternatives. I decided to have it fixed and not buy a new door at this time. Dave went to work and within an hour to an hour and a half my garage door is working and more quiet than it has ever been. I now have a pad that works, and I am very pleased with the company and definitely with Dave. I highly recommend precision doors.

When the estimate came in at over $900, I was in shock. Two springs (On Amazon for $76) plus one half hour of work does not warrant that kind of charge! Unfortunately, the process used of paying for a service call to get an estimate, discourages competitive bidding. Companies charge you for coming out and giving an estimate. The fact remains that this price was over the top, in my opinion. Try another company!
