I woke up this morning to a not pleasant surprise. My garage door would not open. It worked fine yesterday, gave me no indication that it was on its last legs, but indeed during the night it decided to quit. Dave to the rescue. I called and asked for a technician and I couldn’t be more pleased with the gentleman that precision sent to work on my garage door. Dave arrived when he said he would, looked over my garage door and presented me with a few alternatives. I decided to have it fixed and not buy a new door at this time. Dave went to work and within an hour to an hour and a half my garage door is working and more quiet than it has ever been. I now have a pad that works, and I am very pleased with the company and definitely with Dave. I highly recommend precision doors.

When the estimate came in at over $900, I was in shock. Two springs (On Amazon for $76) plus one half hour of work does not warrant that kind of charge! Unfortunately, the process used of paying for a service call to get an estimate, discourages competitive bidding. Companies charge you for coming out and giving an estimate. The fact remains that this price was over the top, in my opinion. Try another company!

In 2019, we had Precision Garage Doors put in 2 doors for us for $5900. They did an excellent job. We just got a quote from them for 2 more of the exact same doors; guess how much? In 6 years the price tripled!! They just quoted $17,600. Won't be happening in this lifetime. The 1 star is for the price.

We are very sorry that everything has gone up since 2019, we wish it wasn't the case. The doors we quoted you were insulated vs the uninsulated ones you received in 2019, that are no longer manufactured.

Woke up on a Saturday morning to find I had a broken spring. Called this company for the first time and they had someone respond within two hours. The technician, David Hoffa, was very efficient and professional. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would use them in the future and certainly recommend them as well.

Precision was very responsive. This was an emergency, in that the garage door would not open and both of our cars were "trapped" inside. A tech was at the house within 90 minutes of my call - other places could only schedule me days out. The tech - Tyler - was professional, informative, and efficient. Once the repair began (complete replacement of the springs, straightening a wrenched roller bracket, some other wheels/bearings replacements) it took roughly 35 minutes, including testing and lubrication. I recommend Precision if you're in the Wellington area.
