Wow. First impressions mean a lot, and Precision Garage Door Service provided an awe-inspiring first-time encounter. I called them yesterday to inquire about checking out my garage opener, which stopped functioning. This morning at 8:30, someone was in my garage assessing the situation. I had several messages confirming the appointment and what I could expect. The service technician, Tyrone, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was great to work with and a credit to the company. He took the time needed to explain my options and showed me what I needed to know about my new equipment. I recommend this company and this technician with enthusiasm!

We have been seeing commercials for Precision Garage Doors every morning, and I'm very happy I finally called them. They were able to come out quickly and their communications around the appointment were great. I love that they sent a photo of the tech by e-mail and text so we would know exactly who was showing up. Ilana was great and took the time to review the situation carefully and then explain our different options. I will certainly be using them again if we need to do further work.

Never got a business card. When I entered the conversation he was having with my husband he never bothered to introduce himself. Never saw samples. When I asked if the current motor would be able to handle a hurricane door which is heavier than the current door, the answer I received was “it should be ok”. Very disappointed.

This company was recommended to me through a friend. I found that the Sales / Installer was a pleasant person. Though, after more research I realized I was ripped off with pricing by several hundred dollars. i understand companies need to make a profit but I am sure when they see the zip code you live in (33431) they take advantage of you. I would do my homework and shop companies to get your best price.

My garage door came crashing down on a Saturday evening. I called Precision because of their 4.9 star rating. I was told a repairman could be dispatched on Sunday but because of my schedule, I opted for Monday. The repairman, Prince arrived within the window I had been promised. He did a thorough inspection of the entire system of my two-car garage. When he finished, he explained everything to me clearly and understandably. He went over my options and made suggestions. It turned out to be a bigger job than I expected but I could clearly see that the repairs were warranted - - springs had to be replaced, it required new spring guards and a new motor. Prince promised that the garage door would operate like new with all the repairs he suggested and he came through on his promise. The motor hums; the door closes gently. I realize now how poorly it had been operating. It was money well-spent. Prince was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He and his associate, Freddie worked meticulously and cleaned up after the job was completed. This experience exceeded my expectations. Well done!

I have used PRECISION before, and was delighted to able to "snag" a technician who was in the neighborhood working on a neigbor's garage door to come to my home to help me with the exterior remote opener. I am disabled bedridden single woman who was horribly taken advantage of for over $1400. I texted the tech the sensor error messages yet he claimed wasn’t the sensor, thst the motor wasn’t working (nor “sufficient” for my garage door) and that I needed new springs (despite getting new springs only 2 years ago). Left the garage door only or be operated manually. Next day I got another company and turns out motor was working fine, never needed springs, previous tech damaged some wiring and the sensors was all that needed to be aligned

technician came out because door was off track and stated we could spend 300 approx for the cheap fix or 1300 of a good fix and it would be good for at least a year. I asked about a new door he state 7-8 weeks to order. I took the 1300 option because 8 weeks was along time with no access to garage. less than a month later after being out town for 2 weeks garage door was again off track. called the office spend another 110 dollars and the technician said door should not have been fixed but replaced. spoke to office manager who was to send me quote for new door with credit for service done. still waiting on that estimate. I guess they just want to charge for work that they know isn't fixing the problem and then get you again saying off track because of other issues. please stay away from this company

Have used Precision in Indiana and Florida. Have found them to be professional, very knowledgeable and always on time. Did a complete inspection on my garage door and found the issue to be my 20-year-old motor/opener. Opener was replaced as well as a complete tuneup of all parts. Weather stripping on door also replaced. Great job. Recommend this company.
