Bait and switch. Estimated $5-600 dollars to replace 2 springs. Guy comes out and wants $1050 for 2 springs. Called my backup and he installed 2 springs for $600.

Eric our technician was both friendly and professional. He pointed out that the spring coils on the garage door has counterweights and they need to be calibrated. He replaced the sheared bracket with a betted designed one. He went beyond what was expected. I was very satisfied with his service. Next time I have to call I will request Eric. These guys are excellent - from the first phone call to the completion of the job. Customer service representative was polite, patient and understanding and she was able to accommodate my schedule and send a technician the same day. Mike arrived promptly and in less than 5 minutes he knew exactly what was causing the problem. I actually had to leave for work and when I got back - everything was ready - installed and working perfectly. It took me 3 years, multiple visits of "specialists" ( including some pretty creepy individuals I had to deal with ) and a solid amount of money wasted on "service fees", "maintenance fees" and / or "consultation fees" and lately - "fuel surcharge fees!" before I was finally able to get this sorted out. Fantastic service and install by Ken. Precision responded the next day and a lot of work was completed quickly. I was given several price options before install. I do see a few reviews/ price complaints for which I understand. However 2 years ago I chose the cheap price and that caused me to spend more money than if I had used a professional to begin with. A bad install and spring settings can cause motor and cable damage. “You get what you pay for” is all too true with this type of repair. Thank you Ken and Precision!!
